1. Who we are

Panic Patcher (“we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship established in Pakistan. We provide educational software for exam preparation and study workflow (EdTech SaaS). For privacy questions, contact support@panicpatcher.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide.
• Usage content — chat messages, skills-assessment answers, uploaded paper photos, and related session context.
• Payment metadata — processed by our third-party payment partner. We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical and analytics data — device/browser metadata, page views, product events, and session replay when enabled.

3. How we use data

• Create and secure your account
• Deliver skills assessments, study guidance, reports, and Pro subscription access
• Process payments and prevent fraud/abuse
• Improve product quality, reliability, and support
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Processors and international transfers

We rely on cloud infrastructure and vendors including Supabase, Google Gemini, PostHog (when enabled), and our payment partner Paddle. Data may be processed in countries other than where you live.

5. Analytics and cookies

Where local law requires consent-based tracking, we only start client analytics after you accept our in-app legal notice. Analytics may include page views, clicks, session replays, and device metadata.

6. Retention and deletion

You can delete threads from the app. You may request account-related deletion by emailing support@panicpatcher.com; we will respond within a reasonable time subject to legal retention needs (for example payment records).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact support@panicpatcher.com to exercise those rights where applicable.

8. Children

The service is intended for users who can lawfully enter an agreement (or who have guardian permission where required). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
